DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are hiring the next wave of designers to help craft brands that come alive through place.
RSM Design is searching for a creative designers who are excited about strategy and live to build brands that create better places. As a junior designer at RSM, you will work alongside senior team members to execute work across a wide variety of creative phases, including brand strategy and visioning, naming exercises, and visual identities, culminating in exciting projects that span spaces, experiences, and culture. If you love building brands with intention, sweating the details, and pushing concepts from small ideas on a page into creative expressions in print, digital, and the built environment, our studio offers a unique place for you to learn, collaborate, and grow as you start the next phase of your design journey.
The ideal candidate is highly creative, task oriented, and motivated to grow in the areas of brand strategy and vision through design and final production. We believe in giving designers the leeway to thrive and are looking for candidates who are driven to learn, teach and collaborate to the betterment of all.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or commensurate experience required.
- 3-5 years experience in the branding design field, or related.
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite programs.
- Deep knowledge of typography and design principles a must.
- Knowledge of designing for the web a plus.
- Knowledge of After Effects and motion graphics capabilities a plus.
- Knowledge in 3D applications or Experiential Graphic Design a plus.
- Collaborative designer that works well in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced environment, as well as ability to work autonomously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
